Welcome to the Knights Club, formerly called the Fairview Knights All Sports Booster Club!
The mission of the Knights Club is to provide financial support for student athletes at Fairview High School.
The BVSD’s funding for athletics at Fairview has remained at the same level for the past several years
despite rising costs for transportation, officials, etc.
Donations to the Knights Club provide badly needed support for Fairview athletes.
Your membership in the Knights Club directly supports FHS student athletes in three ways. First, you can designate a portion of your membership fee to go to the specific team on which your child is playing. Last year, for example, such designated donations provided $600 for boys basketball and $390 for volleyball.
Second, individual teams can request additional financial support from the Knights Club. Last year, for example, the club donated $1,800 to boys swimming and diving and $1,000 to girls soccer.
Third, the Knights Club directly funds larger projects that benefit multiple sports.
In 2007, the Club donated $2,500 for new weight room equipment. The past summer
the Club paid for a colorful mural to be painted in the main gymnasium.
We Need Your Help!
None of this is possible without your membership donation. Our main source of funding is memberships.
Join us! You can designate 1/3 of your membership donation to go directly to either:
1) the team of your choice, or 2) a scholarship fund administered by the Club, or 3) the Club's general fund to be used to fund items that arise during the school year.
